Associate Professor - NUST Chip Design Centre

**Job Details:**

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

  • Must have publications as per HEC criteria for faculty appointments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with the team to meet NCDC objectives.
  • Develop a robust chip-design training ecosystem, including teaching, assessments, curriculum design, and increasing qualified workforce.
  • Oversee chip design tasks with the design group.

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, reporting, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in chip design and tape-outs; ability to mentor students.

**Terms & Conditions:**

  • Attach scanned copies of academic/professional documents.
  • Degree certificates must be attested/verified by HEC.

**Ineligibility Criteria:**

  • Low academic profile or third division in academic career.
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or without NOC.
  • Candidates in the process of pursuing required degrees.
  • Medically unfit candidates.
  • Late or incomplete applications will be ignored.
  • Serving government or armed forces personnel must obtain NOC.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted; no TA/DA provided.
  • NUST reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process.
