Responsibilities
  • Review, debug, and repair existing UI/UX issues on PSW websites (mobile and desktop views)
  • Improve website performance, load times, and responsiveness across all devices and browsers
  • Develop and implement interactive and visually appealing UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content seamlessly
  • Conduct UI/UX audits to identify usability and accessibility improvements
  • Create intuitive, user-centered designs and wireframes to enhance user journeys
  • Ensure brand consistency in typography, color schemes, and component styling
  • Maintain, customize, and troubleshoot October CMS-based projects
  • Implement design changes and content updates in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments for direction and requirements, and align with design, content, and backend technical teams for cohesive project execution
  • Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and propose creative solutions
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework for frontend-backend integration
  • Hands-on experience with October CMS or similar CMS platforms
  • Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other responsive frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of human-centered design principles
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
  • Ability to translate business requirements into interactive design solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, Frontend Development, or Web Technologies
Experience (Added advantage)
  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience in UI/UX development and frontend optimization
  • Demonstrated experience in website redesign and responsive design projects
  • Previous work with October CMS and Laravel is highly preferred
