Job Summary:

A Principal software engineer for Vue.JS at Creative Chaos is mainly responsible for developing front-end web client applications for various software platforms. The engineer ensures that the functionality, security, and performance of the client application meet the design specifications and are bug-free. Senior engineers also mentor juniors and contribute to building team strength through training.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements
  • Estimate assigned tasks
  • Write code and unit tests
  • Collaborate with team members
  • Optimize code for security and performance
  • Maintain systems by fixing issues
  • Update issue tracking software
  • Provide status updates
  • Communicate with clients
  • Control code versions
  • Research new technologies
  • Lead a team of software engineers
  • Mentor team members
  • Upgrade skills and knowledge
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Vue.JS or full-stack developer
  • Proficiency with Vue.js core principles and ecosystem (Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Figma, Nuxt.js
  • Experience with animations, security, and internet ethics
  • Knowledge of backend tools (Node.js) and databases (MongoDB) is a plus
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Strong experience with CI/CD, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with test automation and TDD
  • Experience with Github, JIRA, and collaboration tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Flexible and versatile personality
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
