We are looking for a creative and proactive Video Editor who can take full ownership of our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate should be skilled in video editing, content creation, and YouTube publishing. This role requires someone who not only knows how to make videos visually appealing but also understands the YouTube algorithm, audience engagement, and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality, engaging videos for YouTube.
  • Source, collect, and organize raw footage and content ideas.
  • Add music, graphics, subtitles, and effects to enhance video appeal.
  • Upload and publish videos on YouTube with optimized titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
  • Maintain the upload schedule and ensure consistency in branding and tone.
  • Monitor channel analytics to optimize content strategy.
  • Stay up to date with YouTube trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
  • Collaborate with the team on content planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in video editing and YouTube channel management.
  • Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, metadata, and content strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in creating thumbnails using tools like Photoshop or Canva.
  • Basic understanding of copyright rules and fair use on YouTube.
  • Familiarity with audience engagement tools and trends.
