The Billing Specialist – Home Healthcare Services is responsible for accurate and timely billing, claim submission, and resolution of billing-related issues for Home Health Care agencies. This role requires expertise in payer-specific guidelines, compliance with Medicare and Medicaid policies, and ensuring error-free claims to maximize reimbursement and reduce denials.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit clean claims for Home Health Care services to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Ensure accuracy in charge entry and billing as per payer guidelines and CMS regulations.
  • Verify patient eligibility, authorization, and coverage details before claim submission.
  • Work on claim edits, rejections, and denials to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and maintain billing-related reports to track submission status and cash flow.
  • Collaborate with AR and coding teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes affecting Home Health Care billing.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguard patient information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in billing for Home Healthcare agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare billing, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
  • Familiarity with HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 coding relevant to Home Health Care services.
  • Proficiency in Home Healthcare specific medical billing software.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leave Encashment

Timings:5pm - 2am.
