Role: Backend Engineer – Microservices Architecture (Mobile Apps)

Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
  • Deploy and monitor services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch)
  • Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) & manage containerized deployments (Docker)
  • Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, scalability
Development & Architecture
  • Build scalable microservices using Python (FastAPI/Django)
  • Implement async programming for high-performance backend services
  • Integrate In-App Purchases (IAP) & 3rd-party APIs (Apple Store, Google Play)
  • Collaborate with product/design teams to translate ideas into solutions
Database & Data Modeling
  • Design/manage schemas with PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL
  • Use SQLAlchemy or similar ORM for data modeling & migrations
Best Practices & Collaboration
  • Expose secure, clean REST APIs for frontend/partner integration
  • Write unit/integration tests, conduct code reviews (SOLID, DRY principles)
  • Document architecture, APIs, workflows, and troubleshoot issues
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of backend dev experience with Python
  • Strong command of FastAPI/Django, async programming
  • Proficient in AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, SQS)
  • Hands-on with SQL/NoSQL, schema design, and SQLAlchemy
  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Docker, and microservices experience
  • Understanding of IAP systems and RESTful API design
  • Bachelor's in Software Engineering from a reputed institute
Bonus Skills (Preferred)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, or serverless architectures
  • Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ (event-driven systems)
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical writing (blogs, docs)
