Job Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Node.JS Developer to help us build and scale robust backend services and RESTful APIs. You'll work closely with product managers and front-end developers to deliver features from concept to deployment while taking ownership of key components in a lean and fast-moving team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
  • Integrate and manage third-party services such as payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to implement features end-to-end.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following consistent coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous codebase improvement.
  • Continuously optimize systems for performance, uptime, and security.
  • Take ownership of tasks and contribute to technical planning and decision-making

Requirements:

  • 3–4 years of hands-on backend development experience using Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and microservices.
  • Experience with third-party API integrations, especially payment gateways.
  • Solid grasp of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) and CI/CD practices.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to debug across complex systems.
  • Comfortable working independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.
