Job Description

As a Senior Magento Developer at Saee Tech, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and project managers, to deliver high-performance and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain Magento 2 e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  2. Customize and extend Magento modules, themes, and third-party integrations.
  3. Optimize website performance, including database tuning, caching strategies, and server-side optimizations.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Magento issues, including payment gateway integration, checkout processes, and API integrations.
  5. Implement best practices for Magento development, security, and SEO.
  6. Work with UI/UX designers to create responsive, user-friendly, and high-converting interfaces.
  7. Integrate Magento with ERP, CRM, and third-party services as needed.
  8. Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD, version control (Git), and deployment processes.
  9. Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  10. Stay updated with the latest Magento trends, security patches, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. 4-5 years of experience in Magento development, with expertise in Magento 2.
  2. Experience in developing custom Magento modules, themes, and extensions.
  3. Knowledge of Magento APIs (REST/SOAP/GraphQL) and integrations with third-party systems.
  4. Proficiency in Composer, Git, and version control workflows.
  5. Understanding of server-side performance optimizations and caching strategies (Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, etc.).
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
  7. Experience working with Linux-based servers (Ubuntu, CentOS) and cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.
  8. Good understanding of e-commerce workflows, payment gateways, and order management systems.
  9. Experience with Magento PWA Studio, Headless Commerce, or Adobe Commerce Cloud is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Magento 2 Certification (Developer, Solution Specialist, or Architect) is a plus.
  2. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployments is a plus.
  3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
