We are looking for a Proposal Engineer. Kindly check the below details:

Job Location (On site): 19 km Ferozepur Road, 1 km Kalamkaar Road near Nishter Town Lahore

Timings: Mon - Sat (General Shift)

Education: Electrical Engineering and must be PEC Registered

Interview: Proceeding only with candidates available for onsite interview

Job Summary: As a Proposal Engineer, the candidate will play a crucial role in our organization's growth by preparing, developing, and delivering comprehensive proposals for potential clients. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather technical information, analyze client needs, and create persuasive proposals that align with business goals. The ability to articulate technical solutions and convey value propositions will be essential in winning new projects and contracts.

Proposal Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, including research, content creation, and document formatting, ensuring that proposals are clear, persuasive, and tailored to each client's specific requirements.
  • Technical Analysis: Collaborate with technical experts to understand project requirements, develop technical solutions, and translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for proposed projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors, while maintaining competitiveness and profitability.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses, helping to position our proposals strategically in the market.
  • Client Engagement: Interface with clients to clarify project details, answer queries, and ensure that proposals align with their expectations and needs.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance proposal processes, templates, and tools, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and success rates.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain internal and external communication for new and existing projects via phone, email, WhatsApp, and Zoom to meet deadlines for new proposals and ongoing projects.
Area of Expertise:
  • Conducting technical/financial feasibility studies and developing technical/price proposals
  • Calculating, designing, and simulating solar PV systems
  • Assisting with administrative and permit works
  • Identifying and managing scope, constraints, risks, assumptions, and deadlines
  • Assisting with documentation and other project deliverables
  • Skilled in PVsyst, HelioScope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Electrical Engineering, Power Generation, PLC, SCADA, etc.
