Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to support our finance team. This role will focus on invoice reconciliation, prepayment schedule updates, payroll costing, and tax filing support. The ideal candidate must be proficient in reconciliation, use of excel, and data analysis while ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely processing of financial documents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. B2B invoicing support:

- Retrieving information authorization information from B2B customers

- Tracking service renewals and device invoices

- Working closely with the Business team to identify and fix issues with customer orders

2. Audit & Cancellation Tracking:

- Audit canceled B2B customer lines by reviewing requests from the Business team

- Check if all service renewals are accounted for before processing cancellation requests

- Communicate with the Business team if any discrepancies arise

3. Monthly AR GL & Prepayment Updates:

- Obtain the AR GL report from Manager monthly and confirm that all invoices are uploaded in Sage

- Update the Prepayment Schedule with new additions based on GL reports

- Highlight and document new prepayments entries

4. Payroll Costing & Financial Analysis:

- Update payroll costing numbers for specific business segments

- Review Telecom data, compare totals with previous months

5. Financial Reporting & Tax Filings:

- Download, filter, and prepare Amazon Marketplace Statements using a pivot table

- Assist with in-house USF tax filings as needed


Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis)
  • Familiarity with Zixmail and financial tracking systems
Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
  • Excellent communication and email management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
