- Act as the senior HR representative at the plant ensuring strong and active presence at all levels in the plant.
- Facilitate consistent and fair implementation of HR policies and procedures at the plant.
- Provide the plant management and staff with the necessary guidance and interpretation on all HR related matters.
- Facilitate communication among employees and management within the guidelines of Industrial Relations regulations.
- Guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance.
- Ensure proper implementation of the performance management system and provide the necessary facilitation and support in that exercise.
- Facilitate implementation of appropriate change management and succession planning initiatives associated with organizational development activities.
- Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
- Handle staffing needs at the plant site for both technical and non-technical positions.
- Attend to employees' inquiries on compensation & benefits.
