About the Role:

Lab 8 is looking for a highly organized and proactive Graphic & Video Content Designer to join our team and deliver tasks across multiple projects. If you're a pro at Canva and Figma, and can create stunning visual content (images + videos), we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually appealing graphics for marketing materials, websites, social media, and other platforms.
  • Edit content across multiple ongoing projects.
  • Manage projects independently from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Understand project requirements and objectives creatively.
  • Ensure videos and graphics align with brand guidelines.
  • Edit and finalize video content for all client-facing channels, including:
    • Basic and advanced social videos (Reels, Shorts, Paid Ads)
    • Long-form edits (Podcasts, Narrative Videos)
  • Design and finalize static visual assets such as:
    • Social media posts (quotes, stats, graphics, carousels)
    • Email graphics
    • Thumbnails
    • Campaign visuals
  • Use approved templates and brand assets, escalating issues if needed, without creating new brand visuals independently.
  • Deliver visual work that matches Strategic Briefs, Brand Guidelines, and Execution Standards.
  • Submit completed work for review to the Creative Producer, not directly to leadership.
  • Flag missing assets, footage issues, or visual gaps immediately to the Creative Producer and Project Manager.
  • Complete edits and designs on time, maintaining quality with minimal rework.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design.
  • 3+ years of experience in video editing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other visual design tools.
  • Proficiency in producing stellar content (both Images + Videos) on Canva & Figma.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing graphic and video editing skills.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Tech-savvy with quick adaptability to new design tools and platforms.
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and oral.
