Role Description – Farm Manager (Layer Farm)

Location: On-site – Sargodha, Pakistan

We are seeking a highly skilled farm manager with a strong background in layer poultry farming to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be a DVM-qualified veterinary professional with hands-on expertise in managing large-scale poultry operations, including modern cage systems such as Big Dutchman, Tecno, and Facco. The Farm Manager will be responsible for staff supervision, biosecurity enforcement, bird health and welfare, production planning, ventilation and irrigation oversight, and regulatory compliance aligned with ISO 22000 and HACCP standards.

• Lead and supervise daily farm operations, including feeding, egg collection, vaccination, and flock health monitoring.
• Manage a workforce to ensure optimal productivity, training, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure high levels of biosecurity and disease prevention measures are consistently implemented.
• Operate and maintain automated cage systems (Big Dutchman, Tecno, Facco) and ensure smooth functioning of ventilation, lighting, and irrigation systems.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement improvements in egg yield, feed conversion, and bird performance.
• Maintain accurate records in line with ISO 22000 & HACCP standards for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate with veterinary teams and nutritionists to ensure optimum bird health and growth.
• Oversee infrastructure maintenance, inventory control, and distribution logistics.
• Stay updated with modern poultry health, nutrition, and farm management practices.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Professional experience in poultry farm and layer management.
• Hands-on expertise with Big Dutchman, Tecno, and Facco layer cage systems.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale flocks
• Strong knowledge of biosecurity, disease control, vaccination programs, and feed formulation.
• Familiarity with ISO 22000 & HACCP compliance in poultry operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure operational challenges.
