Transcriptionist

Intermediate level with a certificate in English and Urdu typing is preferred.

5-8 years of experience in Urdu and English typing, with preference given to candidates experienced in typing enquiries and court proceedings in Urdu.

Age:

Should not exceed 30 years.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

This position supports the Prosecution & IR departments during investigation and enquiry proceedings, requiring the candidate to transcribe proceedings in Urdu and English in a prescribed format.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe ongoing inquiry proceedings such as gas theft cases, workplace harassment, domestic inquiries, and investigations in Urdu and English using relevant software.
• Maintain fluency in both languages to match typing speed with ongoing proceedings, transcribing statements and testimonies in real-time without grammatical, spelling, or formatting errors.
• Organize and maintain comprehensive enquiry and discipline records, ensuring secure storage and easy accessibility of transcriptions.
• Listen to audio recordings from inquiry sessions and convert them into written text with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Scan disciplinary files and records.
