As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality written materials across various platforms, including blog posts, newsletters, social media, and website content. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and program teams to ensure that our messaging aligns with Trickle Up's mission and values. Responsibilities

  • Research and write compelling content that engages and informs target audiences about Trickle Up's mission, programs, and successes
  • Create and edit blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media posts, and website content
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for content development
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic reach
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in content writing and digital marketing
  • Assist in developing content strategies that align with organizational goals and audience needs

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in content writing, preferably for non-profits or social impact organizations
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous writing work
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members
  • Passion for social justice, community empowerment and storytelling that drives impact
