Your New Role:

The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for supporting and strategically improving the global network security platform. The individual will evaluate processes regularly to ensure expected outcomes are achieved efficiently, identify service improvements, and document those improvements to ensure standards and processes are followed.

Your Role Accountabilities:
  1. Operations/Project Management
  2. Support all WBD network security infrastructure and services 24/7 by responding to and resolving requests and trouble tickets within SLA.
  3. Identify root causes of network security outages and implement remediation steps to prevent recurrence.
  4. Prioritize work based on business criticalities and handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
  5. Adhere to the team's network standards and procedures in technical and functional areas.
  6. Maintain positive relationships with all user communities, peers, and management.
  7. Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications & Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in system administration within an enterprise network security environment.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Network firewalls is required.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Panorama or Strata Cloud Manager platforms is required.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Global Protect and Prisma Access VPN platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols and troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Process-oriented with strong execution and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in a rotation for out-of-hours support.
  • Legal right to work in India.
