Role

We are looking for a PHP Developer with expertise in WordPress and Drupal for a 3-month contractual role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in custom theme development, plugin/module customization, and website optimization. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Create provided user interfaces using HTML, CSS or content management systems.
  2. Participate in project estimation activities when required.
  3. Ensure that HTML/CSS is cross-browser compatible and W3C compliant.
  4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  5. Integrate HTML/CSS into the frameworks listed in the technical stack of the company.
  6. Have a grasp on the technical stack provided by the company.
  7. Think critically, conduct research, and creatively solve problems.
  8. Communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders, and peers, and collaborate as a team.
  9. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  1. 2-4 years of experience in PHP development with expertise in WordPress and Drupal.
  2. Strong understanding of WordPress theme & plugin development.
  3. Hands-on experience with Drupal module development and customization.
  4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  5. Experience working with MySQL databases.
  6. Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques.
  7. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
