On 23rd April, a good job opportunity is being offered by Lahore High Court, which is looking to recruit Civil Judges cum Magistrates.

The Lahore High Court is governed by the Government of Punjab and aims to resolve judicial issues and deliver fair trials, dealing with various matters.

Applicants from Lahore are encouraged to apply. The position of Civil Judge cum Magistrate BPS-17 requires candidates holding an LLB degree who are seeking employment with Lahore High Court.

This post is filled on a quota basis, including 3% for disabled applicants and 5% for minorities. Below are the eligibility criteria and application process.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates of any gender must possess a Graduate degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Must be a Member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland with at least 2 years of advocacy practice.

Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.

MCQS Test Criteria:

Applicants must pass a written MCQS test with 70% marks, covering:

• Criminal Law
• General Knowledge

Following the MCQS, candidates will undergo a written exam on the first three subjects, with 100 marks per paper, and then an interview.

2. Deposit Rs. 5000 in any branch of MCB Punjab, using the provided deposit slips available at bank branches.
3. Send the filled application form along with the deposit slip, educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, advocate enrollment certificate, appointment letter (if applicable), and 5 attested passport-sized photographs to the address below.
4. Application deadline: May 05, 2025.
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests.
6. No TA/DA will be provided.
7. Candidates must bring original documents for the interview.
