Job Description: Backend Developer & CRM Integration Consultant | API Development & Integration | Low-Code

About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong consulting experience to join our team. You will work directly with non-technical business owners to blueprint products, translate technology into clear business value, and deliver robust integrations between leading CRM and SaaS platforms. Our clients are primarily home service companies and property managers who rely on seamless data flows across tools like Hospitable, Hostaway, Jobber, Service Titan, GoHighLevel, , Notion, ClickUp, Asana, and Airtable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with business owners: Gather requirements, ask clarifying questions, and create clear product blueprints.
  • Communicate technical concepts: Translate complex technology into simple, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design and develop backend solutions: Build scalable, secure server-side architectures and APIs.
  • Integrate CRMs and SaaS tools: Connect multiple platforms via APIs, ensuring reliable data synchronization and workflow automation.
  • Build and optimize workflow automations: Use built-in workflow builders and custom scripts to automate business processes.
  • Document and support solutions: Provide clear documentation and ongoing support for integrations and automations.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Consulting & Communication: Proven ability to work with non-technical clients, explain technical concepts clearly, and blueprint solutions.
  • Backend Development: Expertise in API design, server-side programming, and scalable architecture.
  • CRM & SaaS Integration: Hands-on experience integrating tools such as Hospitable, Hostaway, Jobber, Service Titan, GoHighLevel, , Notion, Click Up, Asana, and Airtable.
  • Workflow Automation: Deep understanding of workflow builders, triggers, and data flows within CRM and SaaS environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with home service and/or property management companies is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with middleware/API gateways and data normalization.
  • Experience handling real-time data synchronization and error handling across platforms.
  • Ability to create visual aids and use analogies to communicate solutions.
  • Track record of building trust and rapport with business stakeholders.
Interview Process
  • Discuss previous projects involving technical consulting for non-technical clients.
  • Walk through a CRM integration you have built, focusing on challenges and solutions.
  • Map out a sample workflow automation and explain your logic.
  • Blueprint a product based on a provided business scenario.
