The Position

We seek a qualified Assistant Manager, Finance, with strong accounting knowledge in the software industry, leadership experience, and responsibilities including month-end/quarter-end close, maintaining financial records, coordinating deliverables with internal and external parties, and understanding financial transactions. Excellent communication, business, and analytical skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including AR aging, billing, collections, revenue recognition, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage payables, treasury functions, fixed assets, and review customer contracts for IFRS 15 compliance.
  • Support quarter-end and year-end deliverables, and utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP for financial data management.
  • Collaborate on monthly forecasts, develop team cohesion, and automate reporting processes.
  • Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.

Professional Skills

  • Proactive process management and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Timely completion of team deliverables and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in finance.
  • Financial expertise in software/IT sector, with knowledge of IFRS 15 and 16.
  • ACCA, CMA, CA qualification required.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Great Plains preferred.
