Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Crystal Report Writer to design, modify, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Crystal Reports and related database tools. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders and customers to create and enhance customized reports that provide actionable insights and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, modify and generate reports using SAP Crystal Reports.
2. Extract, analyze, and interpret data from databases (SQL Server, Power BI, etc.).
3. Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and requirements.
4. Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues related to report generation.
5. Create and maintain stored procedures, views, and queries to support reporting needs.
6. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within reports.
7. Provide documentation for end-user support and training on report usage.
8. Document report specifications, processes, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Proficiency in SAP Crystal Reports and report design principles.
2. Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
3. Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
4. Understanding of database structures, data modeling, and business intelligence (BI) concepts.
5. Ability to analyze and interpret data to create meaningful reports.
6. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Experience with ERP or business systems reporting is a plus.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
2. 2+ years of experience in Crystal Reports development and data analysis.
3. Experience with SQL scripting, stored procedures, and database management.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in the equipment dealership industry is a plus.
2. Familiarity with other reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
3. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
