Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect with a strong delivery background to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from hands-on development or technical delivery into architectural leadership, and who possesses deep backend expertise in Python, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures for web and mobile applications.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
  • Lead architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution delivery across all phases of the SDLC.
  • Create and maintain architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  • Provide technical mentorship to development teams, promoting best practices and code quality.
  • Collaborate with product managers, clients, and engineers to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, frameworks, and cloud services for various projects.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and ensure architectural solutions are practical and implementation-ready.
  • Participate in code reviews and oversee compliance with architectural and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Backend Developer, preferably within a software house or consulting environment.
  • Strong delivery background with a solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Deep expertise in backend technologies, including Python, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Proficient in designing microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Strong grasp of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Certifications in cloud architecture or backend technologies.
  • Familiarity with architectural governance processes and documentation standards.
  • Track record of managing technical risks and delivery constraints effectively.
