Job Description:

Essential
  • BE/BS in Mechanical/Chemical/Materials/Environmental Engineering from HEC recognized University.

Desirable
  • MS in Thermal Energy/Energy Systems/Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized University.

PEC Registration Requirement
  • All the applicants should be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Those not having a PEC registration number must be able to get registered with PEC before joining NUST, if selected.

Experience

Desirable:
  • Experience in Lab Management/RA/project writing/handling

Key Responsibilities
  • The position includes providing hands-on training to undergraduate MS/PhD-level) students on lab instruments and procedures to conduct their research projects.
  • The role also involves coordinating lab sessions, assisting in experiments, and maintaining lab readiness for academic and research activities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Aware of Lab Equipment handling and safety protocols
  • Advance MS Office Skills
  • Stock management
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Terms And Conditions
  • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics /Professional).
  • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
  • 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
  • In process of pursuing a required degree.
  • Medically unfit.
  • Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
  • Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
  • Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
  • Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
  • NUST reserves the right to cancel, modify / terminate the recruitment program due to any reason, without notice, at any time.
