Role

Seeking an expert in Senior Test Engineer to join our team. Hands-on and be able to work selenium with PERL, GitHub Actions, Qase.io, BDD Testcases, Performance Testing, API/DB, Heimdall TAF, Shell, Open API Specification, Swagger.

Responsibilities

  • As a seasoned QA resource in project teams, provide expert opinion and guidance on business & quality parameters.
  • Demonstrate leadership within project teams to take on additional responsibilities as and when required and encourage cohesion & team building.
  • Proactively plan and strategize with the team on possible issues and suggest workable alternatives.
  • Assist Project Manager in requirements gathering.
  • Devise and align test strategy with respect to software development models such as Scrum, Kanban, CI/CT, etc.
  • Ensure the functional and non-functional requirements of the project are met.
  • Deep knowledge of test automation strategies and automation principles.
  • Develop test automation framework, and continue to enhance and modify based on project needs.
  • Review test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
  • Ensure that manual and automation test execution are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Master's/Bachelor's Degree in CS or EE field.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in developing n-tier applications.
  • Hands-on with Selenium (using PERL modules).
  • Experience with Database (SQL, PostGres, Redis).
  • Ideal if their current test scripts are written in Perl.
  • Some bits of TA (test automation) systems are written in Python.
  • Good knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash or equivalent).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in the morning shift (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM).
