Job Summary
The psychologist will provide mental health and psychosocial support services, including individual and group counselling and psychotherapy.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
In accordance with national and international guidelines on best practices related to mental health and psychosocial support, the psychologist will:

• Provide evidence-based psychological services for clients and their families with mental health conditions and psychosocial issues.
• Engage with clinical and supportive supervision.
• Work as part of a mental health case management team along with other service providers.
• Support the delivery of training for staff on topics relevant to psychological practice and case management.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct risk assessments and advise on safety plans.
• Stay updated on evidence-based psychological interventions and advances in the field.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology and/or a valid license to practice psychology.
• Experience with NGOs (preferred).
• At least 3 years' experience in mental health (preferred).
• Proficiency in at least one psychotherapy technique.
• Knowledge of human rights issues related to mental health and psychosocial concerns (preferred).
• Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in low-resource settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a multiethnic environment.
• Interest in learning and professional growth.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Experience working with NGOs and/or refugee populations (preferred).
