Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist (Charge Entry & AR Follow-Up)

Location:DHA, Phase 6, Lahore

Job Type:Full Time

Experience:1-2 years (Charge Entry), 3-4 years (AR Follow-Up)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experiencedMedical Billing Specialistwith expertise inCharge EntryandAccounts Receivable (AR) Follow-Upto join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, claims processing, and denial management, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Charge Entry (1-2 years of experience):
  • Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance details, and procedure codes into billing software.
  • Verify charge accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines.
  • Review and process electronic and paper claims for submission.
  • AR Follow-Up (3-4 years of experience):
  • Investigate and resolve unpaid or denied claims through insurance follow-ups.
  • Identify and correct billing errors, submit appeals, and reprocess claims as needed.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and providers to resolve payment delays.
  • Track and report on aging accounts receivable and reimbursement trends.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years ofcharge entryexperience in medical billing.
  • 3-4 years ofAR follow-upexperience, including denials and appeals.
  • Strong knowledge ofICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
