Main Responsibilities

Liberty Power Tech is a 200MW IPP operating round the clock. The Boiler Engineer is responsible for the smooth operation of the steam turbine, waste heat recovery boilers, and reverse osmosis plants. They report to and assist the operations manager with daily tasks related to the steam system.

  • Operation & Maintenance Planning, Resource Planning, and scheduling related to the steam system.
  • Providing feedback and comments to maintenance teams.
  • Implementing scheduled preventive maintenance and annual inspections of exhaust gas boilers, steam turbines, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Inspecting maintenance work of subordinates to ensure completion as scheduled and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of steam system activities.
  • Upgrading skills and knowledge of team members through hands-on training.
  • Regularly inspecting equipment conditions and the availability of tools needed for maintenance.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and maintenance jobs.
  • Following all safety regulations.
  • Maintaining parameters of the steam system, including HRSGs, Steam Turbine, and related auxiliaries.
  • Reporting abnormalities in the steam system to the Shift Engineer.
  • Assisting Lab Chemist with boiler and steam system quality controls.
  • Performing any other duties assigned.

Job location: Faisalabad, Pakistan

Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
