This is a full-time, on-site night shift role for a Manager Planning and Monitoring (Civil) / Manager PMO Office at AESOM in Lahore. The role involves overall responsibility for the PMO Department team, supervision, and leadership to manage high-rise construction projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring project progress, managing risks, and preparing project reports.

Timings: 6 PM to 3 AM (Monday - Friday) Night Shift

  • Lead and manage high-rise construction projects.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and manage risks.
  • Prepare and present project reports.
  • Review BOQ, budget, specifications, and drawings for new tenders to produce procurement lists.
  • Arrange RFQs and obtain comparable quotes from international suppliers.
  • Prepare comparative reports with different options regarding subcontractors and material providers.
  • Ensure correct materials are ordered for the project.
  • Liaise with contracts/commercial managers and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor stock levels of standard materials and ensure timely procurement.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers/subcontractors and Contracts Manager.
  • Review value engineering possibilities and notify relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow up for final closeout documentation from suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering + Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in high-rise construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools.
  • 5 to 6 years proven experience as a procurement engineer or project manager in civil construction projects.
  • International procurement experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluent English accent required.
