Purpose

This role's primary responsibility is to assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects to ensure timely completion. Work closely with various teams to track progress, manage resources, and handle administrative tasks. This role ensures that strategies are embedded within the business operational plans and performance management plans, with the objective of ensuring process efficiency, in line with organizational policies, values, code of conduct, and supervisor directives.

Education

BE/BS in Electrical/Electronics/Software/CS/Data Science along with Finance or Economics Acumen (MBA). Relevant certification or Master's degree preferred.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in Strategy, Business Planning, or Finance.

Area Of ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Planning 20%

• Assist in developing and amending the strategic business plan for distribution business.
• Assist in validating distribution business budgets and finalizing them for board approval.
• Analyze macroeconomic data affecting the company's strategic direction and its impact on the business plan.
• Monitor project results periodically and suggest corrective actions for deviations.
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and planning new projects.
• Analyze complex financial data to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management.
• Support senior management and department heads with in-depth analysis.
• Prepare data and presentations for Board of Directors meetings, including ad-hoc reports.
• Assist in strategic evaluation, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions aligned with the business plan.
• Coordinate with distribution operations, non-ops, and support functions for budgeting.

Data Analytics 30%

• Assist in business forecasting and analyze factors impacting the business plan.
• Identify trends and suggest strategic adjustments.
• Perform impact analysis on the long-term distribution business plan.
• Study and incorporate global best practices related to tariff regimes, utility models, and market trends.
• Prepare data and presentations for Board and regulator meetings, including ad-hoc reports.
• Develop weekly and quarterly analytical reports using latest tools.

Project Monitoring 40%

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
• Track and report project progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, and scheduling meetings.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
• Analyze data to provide insights for improving project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Address and escalate project issues as necessary.

Stakeholder Management 10%

• Maintain coordination and effective communication across business functions.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for data accuracy and effective projections.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure accurate data submission.

Knowledge & Competencies

• Proficiency in Power BI and data analytics tools.
• Experience with large data sets and financial interpretation.
• Understanding of company operations and project monitoring.
• Financial modeling and stakeholder management skills.
