Cloudelligent is currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team.

Position Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Lahore

Job Timings: 6pm-3am PKT

Job Objective:

As a QA Engineer, you will work on a range of applications across AWS cloud environments, focusing on web-based applications and AI-driven solutions. Your role is crucial in ensuring top-quality client/server platforms and delivering excellent user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure quality of client/server, web-based, and AI-driven applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review technical requirements, specifications, and design documents.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases, including smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance, and deployment testing for both AI and web applications.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, working closely with Dev and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions.
  • Execute manual test scripts, track results, and record test activities and defects using JIRA.
  • Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring clear documentation of steps to reproduce.
  • Ensure test coverage and identify potential risks in web applications and AI models.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of testing processes aligned with client needs and project goals.
  • Engage in continuous learning about new technologies in AI, cloud solutions, and testing methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with experience in frontend and backend testing.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, especially in AI and cloud environments.
  • Experience with test automation tools and scripting for web and AI model testing.
  • Experience with AWS services like EC2, RDS, EKS, S3.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining test plans, cases, and user stories with high attention to detail.
  • Experience with SQL queries for backend data validation.
  • Proven expertise in bug tracking and reporting, with clear reproduction steps.
  • Comfortable working within Agile/SCRUM, proficient in JIRA.
  • Understanding of SDLC and testing risk mitigation.
  • Basic programming knowledge (Python preferred) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple time zones.
  • Experience testing AI applications and knowledge of AI testing methodologies is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • AWS Certifications.
  • Experience with machine learning models and AI validation.
  • Background in DevOps or CI/CD pipelines.
