We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and resolve issues on Netbackup jobs
  • Perform Netbackup Agent upgrades / deployments as needed
  • Participate on NetApp Storage activities, such as OntAp (Operating System) upgrades, new builds, projects and other planned operations
  • Get involved and provide Regional knowledge on incidents related to NetApp Storages and Netbackup
  • Document, plan and implement changes for Storage and Netbackup infrastructure
  • Work as part of regional team with local, regional and global stakeholders inside the corporation
  • Build and configure Windows systems
  • Change implementation – system upgrades via SCCM and automation (scripting)
  • Problem Management – Identify service impacting trends and work with the development teams to implement long term solutions
  • Work through problems and issues to obtain root cause analysis
  • Support planning and install of new operating system releases to maintain software currency
  • Plan and install upgrades/new software, including some local customization
  • Support planning and installation of system software patches to fix identified problems
  • Manage system & software configurations (via change control)
