Junior Software Developer

We are looking for a talented Junior Software Developer (WinForms). The successful candidate will work as part of the development team, participating in the design and implementation of new features, along with maintaining and upgrading existing systems. The selected candidate shall work out of the Contour Software Lahore resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

• Analyze business requirements; identify product impact and possible implementation options, and recommend the solution that best suits the needs of the customers and Harris Phoenix Group (HPG).
• Create and maintain application code that meets design specifications, follows HPG standards, and is easy to maintain.
• Ability to estimate work as requested.
• Work within deadlines in relation to product release timelines, and consistently complete assigned development tasks in required timeframes.
• Fulfill administrative reporting requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related discipline
• Proficiency in C# programming.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Able to work in existing legacy Winforms applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP and programming best practices
• Strong knowledge of software requirements specifications, and strong interpretative skills to understand design requirements
• Willing to work in a team environment.
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written, that include the ability to communicate with internal and external people as changes occur in tasks assigned
• Customer-service orientation
• Strong knowledge of relational database with Microsoft SQL Server
