LAN Technician

We are seeking skilled professionals with expertise in network infrastructure to support and maintain our systems as a LAN Technician.

Qualifications:

4 Years BS in IT, Telecom, Computer Science, or a relevant degree.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, VLANs, Inter-VLAN Routing, and network protocols.
• LAN/WAN Expertise: Solid knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructures.
• Experience with Cisco Equipment: Familiarity with installing and configuring Cisco Wireless routers and switches. Capable of troubleshooting wired/wireless connections and network cabling (Ethernet, fiber optics).
• Hardware & OS Competence: Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues. Proficiency in different operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS for setting up and maintaining networks.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Skilled in using diagnostic tools like Wireshark and Nagios for identifying issues in connectivity, performance, and security.
• Documentation: Capable of documenting network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting processes.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical staff.
