Job Description – GM Accounts & Finance Manager
Location: Sialkot, Pakistan
Industry: Manufacturing
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced GM Accounts & Finance to oversee financial operations, taxation, and cost management. The ideal candidate must be a CA or ACCA with at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and expertise in Sales Tax, Rebate, USA Taxation, Cost Accounting, and Local Taxation & Return Filing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the company.
- Ensure accurate cost accounting and financial analysis to optimize costs and improve profitability.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Handle Sales Tax, Local Taxation, Rebate, and Return Filing in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with USA Taxation laws, including reporting and filing obligations.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and financial statements.
- Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors for compliance and reporting.
- Develop costing models to track manufacturing expenses and optimize pricing strategies.
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial risks and fraud.
- Conduct variance analysis for production costs, overheads, and profitability.
Financial Strategy & Business Support:
- Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and working capital management.
- Support external audits, tax assessments, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Finalist.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in the manufacturing industry.
Expertise in:
- USA Taxation & Compliance
- Local Taxation & Return Filing
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation laws, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance & cost controls.
