A well-renowned Pharmaceutical company in Lahore is actively seeking a Senior Production Manager to oversee their production operations.

To oversee and manage all aspects of pharmaceutical production operations to ensure efficiency, compliance with cGMP, and timely delivery of high-quality products. The Production Manager will lead production teams, optimize processes, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, and collaborate with QA/QC, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations in line with production targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with cGMP, DRAP, WHO, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor production schedules and coordinate with supply chain and planning departments for material availability.
  • Supervise and train production staff, ensuring a safe, productive, and compliant work environment.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and optimize resource usage.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of production processes, batch records, deviations, and incidents.
  • Liaise with quality assurance and quality control to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of production machinery in coordination with engineering.
  • Participate in audits (internal and external) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols in all production areas.
  • Prepare production reports and present data to senior management for review and decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Pharm / Pharm-D, M.Phil. Pharmaceutics
  • Experience: Minimum 15–20 years of relevant experience in a Pharmaceutical production environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP, DRAP, and other Pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Additional knowledge of PIC/s and WHO guidelines will be a plus
