Bookpeer is Pakistan's emerging largest online bookstore, powered by Nearpeer. We aim to

make quality academic books and materials easily accessible at affordable prices. We're looking

for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to lead the project as its head.

Role Summary

As the Project Head of Bookpeer, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end growth and operations of the project. This is a founder-track opportunity for someone passionate about e-commerce, education, and building scalable businesses. You will be leading marketing, team management, operations, and strategic partnerships while reporting directly to the co-founders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute KPIs and performance goals for the Bookpeer team
  • Manage day-to-day operations, logistics, and customer service workflows
  • Lead and coordinate the internal team (marketing, operations, customer support)
  • Develop and execute online and offline marketing campaigns
  • Drive business growth, customer acquisition, and monthly sales targets
  • Identify and secure new partnership opportunities with publishers, vendors, and influencers
  • Utilize AI tools and technologies to optimize operations and marketing
  • Prepare periodic reports using Excel/Sheets for performance and finance tracking
  • Present progress and roadmaps to co-founders regularly
  • Continuously work on scaling operations and improving customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Passion for running a business and working in an entrepreneurial role
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and business models
  • Basic marketing knowledge (social media, digital ads, organic growth)
  • Ability to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva, Notion AI, etc., for productivity and marketing
  • Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets for data reporting
  • Good presentation skills
  • Prior experience in running or helping run an e-commerce store is a plus
  • Any experience in team leadership, logistics, or customer management is preferred
  • Formal degree or background not required – we value execution over education
