The Commercial Agriculture Expert will lead cluster development activities to create linkages between contract farming and farmer-owned businesses, agribusiness input suppliers, rural service providers, and agriculture processing companies.

The expert will propose mechanisms to improve market linkages, including connections with input suppliers, intermediaries, and end markets.

Additionally, the expert will assist stakeholders in meeting relevant international conventions and adhering to international best practices on market access, trade, standards, biosafety, and the environment.

Job Specification

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in agriculture or relevant fields
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing USAID projects for expanding markets and trade
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to lead a team of experts
