Company Oversight:

A London based asset Management Company established its office in Islamabad in 2021. The office has seen rapid growth over the last 12 months and continues to grow in 2024. The company also provides middle and back office services to our other office in Monaco and Switzerland. London is the operational hub of the entire group. In 2021, the group set up FGK Back Office Services in Islamabad as an offshore centre that supports the London operations. Due to the success of this office, we are now looking to hire additional people to support this office in Islamabad.

FGK Back Office Services (Private) Limited is engaged in Back Office Services and is registered with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

FGK Back Office Services (Private) Limited started its operations in November 2021 with a strategic decision and ambition to provide Back Office Services to Financial and Banking Sector Companies working domestically and overseas. Our Back Office Services includes but not limited to;

- DATA MANAGEMENT

- OPERATIONS SUPPORT

- ACCOUNTING & REPORTING

Recently, FGK Back Office Services (Private) Limited contracted with a growing Asset Management company based in London. We, at FGK have been providing Back Office services to our clients that includes but not limited to Data Entry & Analytics, Account reconciliations, transaction processing, Updating Portfolio accounts.

Therefore, to execute these tasks we require Financial Data Analyst to join a high performing and professional Operations team at Islamabad.

The Data Analyst will take responsibility for the following duties:

1. Prepare data structures, refine, and categorise data with respect to investment portfolios requirements.
2. Collect data from multiple sources and align it on a uniform basis to keep it compatible and consolidate and prepare meaningful data analysis.
3. Manual downloading of bulk reports from different system and categorising it in meaningful data for the use of stakeholders.
4. Check and monitor the data feeds.
5. Input and update the manual prices for the relevant securities.
6. Maintain the correct categorization of securities.
7. Provide data statistics and analysis on a monthly basis or as required by the management.
8. Monitor the KYC module and notify compliance of any upcoming expiration of documents.
9. Highlight errors and inefficiencies in the system and perform necessary changes to remove errors.
10. Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as per business requirements.
11. Investigate data/performance related queries raised by the team.
12. Produce weekly meeting minutes for the team meeting.
13. Continuously work on improving the data workflows across various departments.

1. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel Advanced Level, Word & PowerPoint)
2. Microsoft Teams
3. Bloomberg

Skill Sets Required:

1. Qualified to graduate level from a recognised university with majors in Financial Data Management/Accounting/Finance/Banking/Management.
2. Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience of handling and working on bulk and unstructured data, data visualization at a banking or financial institution or finance department of a reputed organization.
3. A strong knowledge of MS-Office (Outlook, Excel Advanced Level, Word & PowerPoint).
4. Good working knowledge of Data Management tools.
5. Minimum 2 years of prior experience of working on any management software or Accounting Software or Data Management System.
6. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
7. Self-starter and motivated.
8. Willing to work as part of a team.
9. Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
10. Person with intelligent working style & habits.

Other Information:

1. Benefits: EOBI, Gratuity, Medical Insurance IPD only.
2. Timing: Winter: 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM Summer: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
3. Working Days: From Monday to Friday.
