• Brought together animators, designers, teachers, and curriculum developers to create a cartoon series by the name of Taleemabad. The series is now broadcast on national television and viewed by more than 8 million children every week according to PEMRA.
• Brought together teachers with developers and tech enthusiasts, and created a game-based learning platform for Android phones (called the Taleemabad Learning App), which has now reached 1 million households, with a rating of 4.4 on the Playstore
• Launched School vertical (details here), we empower entrepreneurs to take our approach and build a truly progressive, modern school at an affordable fee. It's fun to be in Taleemabad. You should visit one soon. We plan to build 100+ of these in the next year, taking incredibly engaging learning across the country.
• Our work has gotten us recognition from the Queen of England, a feature in the New York Times , Forbes magazine, and most recently, we became the 3rd company to win a WISE Award. We're going places in the next few years, and we want you to join us on the journey.

Responsibilities:

What We're Looking For

• Basic understanding of Python and its application in backend development.
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Fundamental knowledge of Odoo's architecture and ORM (on-the-job training will be provided).
• Willingness to learn about system customization, data migration, and integrations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Basic knowledge of XML and Odoo ORM (models, fields, inheritance), and how to create/update views like form/tree/kanban.
• Familiar with QWeb templating for customizing reports, and know how to use domain filters and basic CRUD operations in Odoo.
• Able to work with modules, inherit models, and navigate through the Odoo backend for development and debugging.

Preferred Skills:

• Academic or personal project experience in Odoo or other ERP systems.
• Exposure to REST APIs or an interest in learning how integrations work.
• Understanding of version control tools like Git.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work in an Agile team environment.'
