Main Responsibilities:

  • The Construction Manager is responsible for managing site activities and leading staff at the site. They are accountable for customer relationship management at the site. Responsibilities include planning site activities, leadership, engaging with the project team, defining rules of collaboration, and managing site operations.
  • Site Management and Administration, including reviewing contracts, participating in subcontracting, scheduling, planning communication, mobilization, resource planning, budgeting, and implementing Last Planner System.
  • Execution leadership, maintaining customer and subcontractor relationships, leading site teams, and ensuring facilities are adequate.
  • Site handover, including lessons learned, feedback sessions, and project completion celebrations.
  • Ensuring contractual requirements are met, managing change processes, subcontractors, site planning, reporting, resourcing, budgeting, and procurement.
  • Final site activities involve ensuring contractual fulfillment, closing activities, reporting, warranty support, and successful transfer to lifecycle services.

Requirements:

  • Educational: BE/BSc in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in a similar role. Prior experience with Wärtsilä Duel Fuel engines is advantageous.
  • Understanding of workplace safety.

Desired Skills:

  • Communication, management, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, presentation, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of ICT tools and applications, cost awareness, and HSE standards.
