ASP.NET Developer

Vertex Infotech Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated ASP.NET Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development and maintenance of robust web applications, utilizing the ASP.NET framework and related technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business needs while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using ASP.NET (MVC/Web API), .NET Core, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to gather requirements and create technical specifications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices for coding standards, security, and performance.
  • Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and ensure seamless data flow between client and server.
  • Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Implement APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance application functionality.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in .NET technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems.
  • Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to improve their skills and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development processes, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure applications meet security, accessibility, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET (MVC/Web API) and .NET Core.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (or other databases) with experience in creating stored procedures, views, and optimizing queries.
  • Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS and deploying .NET applications in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps practices, version control tools (e.g., Git), and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
  • Hands-on experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting in production environments.
  • Certification in Microsoft .NET Framework or Azure Fundamentals is a plus.
