Main Responsibilities

Boiler Engineer at Liberty Power Tech (200MW IPP, Faisalabad, Pakistan): Responsible for the smooth operation of steam turbines, waste heat recovery boilers, and reverse osmosis plants. The Boiler Engineer reports to and assists the Operations Manager with daily steam system tasks.

  1. Plan and schedule operation & maintenance activities related to the steam system.
  2. Provide feedback and comments to the maintenance team.
  3. Implement scheduled preventive maintenance and annual inspections for exhaust gas boilers, steam turbines, and auxiliary equipment.
  4. Inspect maintenance work of subordinates to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of steam system activities.
  6. Upgrade skills and knowledge of team members through hands-on training.
  7. Regularly inspect equipment and tools for condition and availability.
  8. Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  9. Follow all safety regulations.
  10. Maintain parameters of steam systems, including HRSGs, steam turbines, and auxiliaries.
  11. Report abnormalities to the Shift Engineer.
  12. Assist the Lab Chemist with boiler and steam system quality controls.
  13. Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
