We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer with strong expertise in Jakarta EE to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 12 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Java and Java-based web frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Jakarta EE frameworks.
  • Create robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps, to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Integrate applications with third-party systems and APIs.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high application performance.
  • Drive process improvements and introduce best practices to the development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) and ORM tools like Hibernate. Hands-on experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle. Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with WildFly is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (Angular) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong familiarity with GPT tools (Prompt engineering) and their usage in enhancing productivity.
