Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, with a strong focus on sales and purchase reconciliation, stock balancing, and financial reporting. This role requires in-depth knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Reconcile sales and purchase accounts, ensuring accurate matching of invoices, goods receipts, and payment cycles.
  • Monitor and balance stock and inventory, reconciling physical stock with accounting records on a periodic basis.
  • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and assist in preparing financial statements.
  • Review and analyze cost variances, production reports, and pricing structures to support cost control.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing all required documentation and analysis.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, GST, and other local statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to validate inventory movement and stock valuations.
  • Generate and analyze management reports related to profitability, cost analysis, and working capital.

Qualifications And Skills
  • ACCA Member or Related Fields
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, sales/purchase reconciliation, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
