About the job

Agency Partner Interactive is currently looking for a professional Tableau developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data visualization solutions using Tableau software. The primary role of a Tableau developer is to create and implement effective data visualizations and dashboards that enable business users to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with IT and other software development teams to architect, design, and implement operational metrics dashboards for Business Units, Functions, and Regions/Plants.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
  • Continuously improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
  • Build custom quantitative models using advanced statistical methods (e.g., causal and predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, simulation, and/or optimization).
  • Interpret results of models, identify trends and issues, and develop solutions to support business objectives.
  • Validate and test models to ensure accuracy and determine if reformulation is needed.
  • Provide training and coaching to Supply Chain team members.
  • Perform software validation and testing activities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, tool development, database design, analytics, and dashboard creation.
  • Experienced professional Tableau developer with some data engineering/modeling capabilities, preferably with Snowflake.
  • Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry is preferred.
  • Experience working in or for Supply Chain functions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of databases, data warehousing, or data sciences.
  • Good exposure to Data Warehousing systems like Snowflake, Teradata, or Redshift.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in analytics and window functions.
  • Knowledge of query tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with data migration projects.
  • Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow and Control-M.
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau dashboards and analytics; knowledge of Tableau administration and architecture.
  • Experience in documenting data flows and business processes, and creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Solid understanding of BI, reporting, data mining, or multi-data center applications.
