We are seeking an experienced Veeva Tech Architect (Commercial Cloud Focus) with a deep background in Healthcare & Life Sciences to join our team for a 6-month remote contract.

In this role, you'll act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding IBM account teams and clients through the full sales and solution design lifecycle. You'll bring both technical expertise and industry insight, helping clients streamline their commercial content management and compliance processes using Veeva Vault and integrated enterprise solutions.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Veeva Tech Architect (Commercial Cloud Focus) with a deep background in Healthcare & Life Sciences to join our team for a 6-month remote contract.

In this role, you'll act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding IBM account teams and clients through the full sales and solution design lifecycle. You'll bring both technical expertise and industry insight, helping clients streamline their commercial content management and compliance processes using Veeva Vault and integrated enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with IBM account teams and healthcare/life sciences clients to understand mission objectives, business processes, and technology needs.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops, validating client requirements and solution designs.
• Architect and implement Veeva Vault PromoMats solutions aligned with regulatory standards (21 CFR Part 11) and Veeva best practices.
• Oversee the full promotional material lifecycle: submission intake, MLR/PRC review processes, approvals, expirations, and renewals.
• Design and build integrations between Veeva Vault and enterprise systems (CRM, RIM, DAM, MedComms, etc.) using APIs and middleware tools.
• Configure lifecycles, workflows, security roles, metadata models, and document types across multiple Vault environments.
• Define technical roadmaps, evaluate new Vault releases, and lead feature adoption strategies.
• Manage document and data migrations, ensuring parity across SBX, Test, and Production environments.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to communicate solution value to client stakeholders.
• Leverage IBM's asset portfolio (e.g., IBM Consulting Advantage) within Veeva-centric solutions where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Veeva Vault hands-on experience, including PromoMats, MedComms, DAM, Claims, and Modular Content modules.
• Minimum of two end-to-end PromoMats implementations.
• Prior consulting experience with Healthcare & Life Sciences clients.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and experience managing compliant document/data migrations.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and management teams as a subject-matter expert.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into client-facing, solution-oriented discussions.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Active Veeva Certifications: Vault Platform Administrator, Vault CRM Administrator, or equivalent.
