Responsibilities:

  1. The swimming instructor is responsible for instructing all swimming lesson participants.
  2. This position is also responsible for the safety of the participants.
  3. Work hours as scheduled, which includes beginning and ending class on time, remaining after class to answer participant and/or parent questions as needed, and cleaning up supplies.
  4. Instructs and evaluates students participating in swim lessons.
  5. Submits completed report cards, skills sheets, and attendance information on time.
  6. Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  7. Act immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
  8. Presents a professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
  9. All other duties as assigned by the management.

Education and Experience:

  1. Intermediate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  2. Experience in teaching swimming to kids and adults (at least 5 years).
  3. Expert in different swimming styles and their teaching methods.
