About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms using modern cloud technologies. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, or equivalent.
• Work with large-scale data platforms including Databricks and Snowflake to build efficient data workflows.
• Deploy infrastructure using Terraform, manage containerized environments using Docker, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver integrated data solutions.
• Manage cloud data infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging cloud-native services for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Optimize data architectures for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Use version control systems like Git to manage code, collaborate with teams, and enforce best practices in source control.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high engineering standards.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with the others.
• Solid experience with Databricks and Snowflake for data processing and warehousing.
• Strong grasp of ETL tools and practices; experience with modern orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and deploying cloud-based infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative code practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Scala for data manipulation and scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for data pipeline health checks.
