Location: Islamabad | Full-Time | Mid to Senior Level

Are you passionate about big data infrastructure and optimizing analytics platforms? Join our growing team as a Cloudera Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in managing and supporting a high-performance data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Cloudera platform (CDH/CDP), including cluster configuration, resource management, and tuning.
  • Monitor system health and performance, conduct capacity planning, and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize ETL workflows, especially those built with Informatica.
  • Ensure high availability and business continuity through disaster recovery setups.
  • Drive platform reliability, governance, and data compliance processes across the analytics environment.
  • Develop automation scripts and implement operational best practices.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams on upgrades, patches, and deployments.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in Cloudera Administration (CDH or CDP).
  • Strong knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Impala, YARN, HBase, etc.).
  • Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting in enterprise Cloudera environments.
  • Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Cloudera Manager, Grafana, etc.
