As an Angular Developer, you will be responsible for the front-end architecture and development of our web applications, with a strong emphasis on performance optimization and security best practices. You will collaborate with back-end engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to build and scale applications that meet our business goals and provide secure, high-performance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance Optimization:
• Implement best practices for Angular performance, including lazy loading.
• Change detection strategy optimization, efficient data-binding, and minimizing bundle size.
• Utilize Web Workers, Service Workers, and Caching strategies to enhance client-side performance.
• Profile and optimize the rendering cycle and memory management to handle large-scale data efficiently.
• Implement tree-shaking and code splitting to reduce the size of JavaScript bundles and improve loading time.
• Optimize API calls, minimize HTTP requests, and ensure asynchronous loading of resources to reduce latency.
• Security Implementation:
• Ensure secure coding practices by following industry standards (OWASP Top 10).
• Implement secure coding practices in line with ISO 27001:2022 and HIPAA compliance to protect user data and prevent security vulnerabilities.
• Prevent Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks by utilizing Angular's built-in security mechanisms (e.g., sanitization of user input).
• Implement Authentication & Authorization using secure methods (e.g., JWT, OAuth2).
• Protect against Injection Attacks by sanitizing data inputs and ensuring safe API interactions.
• Enable Content Security Policy (CSP) to mitigate risks from malicious content.
• Conduct security audits of Angular components to identify and fix vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration & Best Practices:
• Work closely with the back-end team to ensure secure data handling and optimize API interactions.
• Implement unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure security features are intact and performance standards are met.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end performance optimization and security.
• Promote code reviews and collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality, secure, and optimized code.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Angular development with a strong understanding of the framework's architecture.
• Expertise in front-end performance optimization, including lazy loading, change detection strategies, and minimizing bundle sizes.
• Experience implementing security best practices in web applications (e.g., XSS, CSRF, authentication, encryption).
• Strong understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and OAuth2 for secure client-server interactions.
• Familiarity with state management libraries like NgRx or Akita to handle large-scale application states.
• Hands-on experience with build tools like Webpack, Angular CLI, and Babel for performance optimization.
• Experience with secure HTTP headers, CSP, and JWT token management.
• Solid understanding of unit testing (e.g., Karma, Jasmine) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Protractor).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows for web applications.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting the latest trends in web development.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with progressive web applications (PWAs) and service workers for offline capabilities.
• Knowledge of Web Vitals and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) or Angular Universal.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerization for building optimized Angular apps.
